Trail Life USA is a Christ-centered outdoor character development adventure program open to boys and young men aged 5-17. Boys will love the fun and adventure! Parents will love the commitment to a Christian worldview and moral consistency.
Trail Life is a Church-Based, Christ-Centered, Boy-Focused mentoring and discipleship journey that speaks to the heart of a boy. Established on timeless values derived from the Bible and set in the context of outdoor adventure, boys from Kindergarten through 12th grade are engaged in a Troop setting by male mentors where they are challenged to grow in character, understand their purpose, serve their community, and develop practical leadership skills to carry out the mission for which they were created.
Each month we work on a new badge or segment of a badge. Boys are encouraged to work with their parents. Advancements is based on ranks and badges (like scouting).
All leaders are approved through the Troop Committee and have a solid background in teaching boys and modeling manhood and mentoring.
In a gender-confused society, Trail Life presents a strong fixed Biblical structure and atmosphere for boys to learn to be Godly men.
At the end of each month there is a special “Hit The Trail” adventure event. The Woodlands may have different activity than the Navigators/Adventurers.
The Laurel Creek Baptist Church is very supportive in prayer, in funding, and providing resources and meeting location.
Boys are encouraged to learn obedience along with gaining skills and behaviors for leading each other. This is modeled in the adult leadership first.
Check out the Photo Gallery to see the great variety in events and service projects.
Instead of an emphasis on advancement, Trail Life focuses on advancement while building the boys’ character & spirituality.
We teach the Biblical strength of Christ in serving others and doing good works.
